ALL Traders are required to provide the documentation listed on the General Trader and Food Trader Applications.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE PROVIDERS
Public Liability Insurance is a business insurance that covers you against claims made by customers and/or members of the public, in the event of an accident.
Every trader is required to provide proof of this.
An internet search will provide a number of companies who offer Public Liability Insurance cover.
There is no minimum or maximum required amount of cover.
Annual or daily policies are available.
A policy schedule must be provided and include name, address, policy no. and policy end date.

FOOD HYGIENE TRAINING
Any Trader selling food items, cooked or fresh, will be required to complete Food Hygiene Training at Level 2 or above.
Certification of training will be required.

REGISTERING AS A FOOD TRADER
Any Trader selling food items, cooked or fresh, will be required to register with their Local Authority.
Evidence of registering must be provided and include name, address and name of Local Authority.
Please note: this is not the same as Council Tax and a Council Tax bill will not be accepted.
